Who we are

Prof. Dr. Heike Klüver | Director
Professor Heike Klüver is Professor and Chair of Political Behavior at the Humboldt University of Berlin and Spokesperson of the DFG Research Training Group “The Dynamics of Demography, Democratic Processes and Public Policy”. Previously, she was Professor of Comparative Politics at the University of Hamburg, Professor of Empirical Political Science at the University of Bamberg, Junior Professor of Political Administration and Policy Analysis at the University of Konstanz, and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Nuffield College, University of Oxford. Among other things, she was a member of the social science advisory board on the Corona Pandemic of the Berlin state government and holds numerous positions in scientific professional associations such as the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and the GESIS Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences. Her research focuses on political behavior, political competition, and government policy and relies on quantitative and experimental methods. Dr. Felix Hartmann | Co-Director
Felix Hartmann is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of International Economics, Government and Business at the Copenhagen Business School. Previously, he was a Predoctoral and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Chair of Political Behavior at Humboldt University in Berlin. His research is devoted to comparative politics, political economy, and social science methods. In doing so, he combines experiments, large data sets, and field research.
